At Hill Reserve Coffee Company, we believe great coffee starts long before it reaches your cup. It begins on the hillsides where our beans are grown and it ends the moment your order comes in and we fire up the roaster.

Our Story

Hill Reserve was founded on a simple conviction: specialty coffee should be as fresh as it is exceptional. We were tired of coffee sitting in warehouses for weeks, losing the nuance and brightness that makes single origin beans so remarkable. So we built something different a roastery that roasts only when you order.

Single Origin, Specialty Grade

Every coffee we offer is specialty grade, scoring 80 points or above on the Specialty Coffee Association scale. We source directly from small farms and cooperatives, selecting single origin lots that tell a story of a specific place, a specific harvest, a specific farmer's craft.

We don't blend to hide flaws. We source to celebrate character.

Small-Batch Roasting

Our small-batch approach means we roast in limited quantities, with full attention to every profile. No shortcuts. No mass production. Each roast is dialed in to bring out the best of what the bean has to offer whether that's the bright citrus of an Ethiopian natural or the dark chocolate depth of a Colombian washed.
